I've never cooked in my entire single lady life, not even a decent sunny side up and I always told myself that I won't cook until I have my own kitchen. Now that I have one, I guess I can't use that excuse anymore. Pfffft! hehehe!
If you've been following me on Instagram, you'll probably notice my cooking experiments and please don't get annoyed whenever I post pictures of the ingredients and my finished products. Pagbigyan nyo na ko! Big deal 'to sakin, mga tsong! :)
For a non-cook wifey like me, honestly, it's not easy. It's NOT like "Wow! Ansarap maghiwa ng sibuyas!!!" in an instant. I have to really force myself to believe that I'm the next Kusina Master, kumbaga pamalit kay Chef Boy Logro. Yum! Yum! Yum! HAHAHA! And for someone who was used to just wait for the magic phrase "Kain na!" for several years, this is one of the biggest adjustments I've been going through since I got married. Good thing, I have a super mabait na asawa. He would help me wash the dishes without asking him to just to make things lighter for me.
So to all the young misis-es out there, go ahead and cook for your husbands. But don't do it just because you have no choice and no one will do it for you or just because you'll have something to post on Facebook or Instagram. Do it because it's your job to do so. Even if you already bought all the cookbooks and installed cooking applications to your phone, yet your finished products don't look like those in the pictures most of the time....trust me, he'll love you even more.
Thanks for visiting my site. I'd love to hear from you.
