Storage Solution #001

If like us, you're still saving enough moolah to install built-in cabinets for your kitchen, you might want to consider this cheap alternative. Once again, our kuripotness led to the discovery of an affordable way to organize our mini pantry.
One of the basic space saving techniques is to avoid too much clutter so for a tiny condo unit, built-in cabinets would really be of big help. But for the meantime, this can be a smart alternative to at least lessen the clutter. Just put related items in the same bin. And remember to keep the heavy ones below and the light ones on top. You can buy those trays with steel stands and bins with handles at Saizen/Daiso for only 88 Pesos each. You'll have instant kitchen shelves at an affordable price. So with that, I can say with so much conviction...WE CAN ELIMINATE MESS FOR LESS!! (Oh diba, it rhymes!hehe)

Homemade Frappuccino

I'm not really a coffee addict but I occasionally go to Starbucks to have some frappe. I never thought that I can have one when I say "I WANT FRAPPUCCINO AS IN NOW NA!" right at my own home. hehehe.

MEET MY PERSONAL BARISTA :)

Considering the fact that Ken doesn't have any culinary background, in all fairness, his frappe is very Starbucks (or even better!) and I'm not being biased because my family loves it, too. One proud wifey I am! haha :) But as much as I want to share with you how it's done....Sorry guys! When I asked him, he just said "Do it with love!" Pfffffffttttttt! :) :) :)

New Name. New Aim.

It's been 2 months since Ken and I got married and aside from my office work plus my cooking attempts and all the wifey duties, I've been so busy updating my name and civil status. Grabe! I had to sign lots of documents just to do that. Buti pa sa Facebook, after a few seconds of clicking..Pronto! Married ka na agad, updated na ang name with matching picture pa! Hehehe

Anyway, if you've been reading my blog for some time now, you were probably surprised to see some changes. Yep! You're not lost, dear. This WAS beiduka.blogspot.com but along with updating my status, I've also transformed my blog into (hopefully) a more "senseful" one. Join me here in my tiny space in the cyberworld as I share to you my adventures (and misadventures) as a young misis. Whenever you're killing time, please feel free to visit:

www.theadventuresofayoungmisis.blogspot.com

I'm actually enjoying all of these bitter-sweet (more of sweet, luckily!) newlywed adjustments but just like how our Lolos and Lolas will tell every young misis out there, I know...Marame pa akong kakaining bigas!hehehe. So, whenever you can relate with my stories, or if you want to share inspiring thoughts, or if you have questions, violent reaction or anything except solicitation (hahaha), don't be shy to leave a comment or email me at beavillaflorblog@gmail.com. I would really love to learn from you, too. Seeyah!

Bliss As We Got Hitched

We consider our wedding as one of the first answered prayers we got as husband and wife because it turned out to be exactly how we prayed it to be: A Happy Celebration :)

Having to pay for our own wedding, we really made sure that we stick to our little budget. We had no fancy venue, a limousine and a million worth of suppliers and what have you. It may not be a perfect wedding from a spectator's view. I, too, had some I-could-haves and We-could-haves and a bit of Why-didn't-s/he-do-this-and-that after our Big Day but then I realized one thing: At the end of the day, if you got married to the one you truly love and that person you want to laugh with for the rest of your life, then that means... EVERYTHING WENT PERFECTLY
